Frequently Asked Question
CHADIS will age-adjust for developmental age vs. chronological age, up to age 2, per AAP recommendations for all developmental questionnaires. For example, if a child is 2 months old but 4 weeks premature, CHADIS will consider them to be 1 month old when assigning questionnaires based on auto-assignments. You can edit the prematurity value for a patient on CHADIS to have CHADIS assign based on developmental age and you can also edit prematurity settings for auto-assignments.
1. In the CHADIS patient chart, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the patient section, and choose ‘Edit.’
2. Scroll down to ‘Premature Birth’ to choose prematurity status. If ‘Yes’ is chosen, enter the number of weeks premature and click ‘Save.'
3. The prematurity value will appear in the patient information section.
4. CHADIS will read the prematurity value for all future visits moving forward and assign questionnaires based on developmental age.
