Frequently Asked Question
CHADIS will age-adjust for developmental age vs. chronological age, up to age 2, per AAP recommendations for all developmental questionnaires. If the number of weeks premature is listed in PCC, this data is synced to CHADIS and CHADIS will read the patient’s gestational age. For example, if a child is 2 months old but 4 weeks premature, CHADIS will consider them to be 1 month old when assigning questionnaires based on auto-assignments. To edit prematurity for a patient, edit the patient file in PCC.
**If you would like to turn off CHADIS prematurity adjustment for a questionnaire, contact your Account Manager to allow you to alter the default settings for that questionnaire. Once they have enabled the ability to change the default settings, follow the instructions below. Auto-Assignments can be edited by the CHADIS Administrators in your office.
1. Log in to CHADIS and click ‘Automatic Assignments’ under ‘Office Administration’ on the left hand side.
2. Click on the questionnaire to edit the prematurity setting.
3. You can now select ‘Use Default’ (only developmentally related questionnaires are adjusted), ‘Always Adjust’ or ‘Never Adjust.’
