Frequently Asked Question
Q: When our practice transitions from CHADIS Direct to integrated, will the patient data in CHADIS be lost?
A: During the integration process, we will add the PCC ID number to your existing CHADIS patients. This will ensure that your patient history is preserved and duplicate patients are not created.
Q: Will parents have problems clicking the CHADIS button from the PCC portal if they have already used CHADIS Direct?
A: Parents will have no problems clicking the CHADIS button on the portal. The parent’s CHADIS Direct login will be deactivated and they will use their PCC portal for CHADIS questionnaires moving forward.
Q: How do I schedule a patient appointment now that we’re integrated?
A: Patient appointments are scheduled the same as usual in PCC. Make sure you select the appropriate visit reason for the appointment to ensure the appropriate questionnaires are assigned.
Q: Once we’re integrated, can respondents still log in to CHADIS directly to complete questionnaires as usual?
A: All primary caregiver CHADIS logins will be deactivated, and they must log in through the PCC portal to complete questionnaires moving forward. Special accommodations can be made for both teachers and teens to continue to use their CHADIS Direct logins, but we do recommend that teens create their own portal accounts as well.
Q: How do I access CHADIS now that we’re integrated with PCC?
A: Access to CHADIS for practice staff will be through login at chadis.com.
Q: Once we’re integrated, how do we enroll patients in CHADIS?
A: Once CHADIS is integrated with PCC, patients are electronically registered via the questionnaire assignment process. Parents and patients will not be able to self-enroll patients. See Patient and Respondent Registration for more information.
