Frequently Asked Question

How Patients and Respondents Are Registered in CHADIS (eCW Integrated Clients)
Last Updated a year ago

There will be no CHADIS charts when you first go live.

Patients will be automatically registered in CHADIS (charts created) when eCW sends appointment notices for mapped visit types within the lookout period.

NOTE: For any appointment made prior to your install, you need to open the appointment and click okay. This will trigger eCW to notify CHADIS so CHADIS can register the patient/set up the chart and assign questionnaires if the visit type and age criteria are met. There is an issue in eCW which prevents the eCW scheduler from "seeing" appointments that were made a long time ago, so you will be required to "touch" those appointments to trigger eCW sending the messages. You’ll need to open any appointments made PRIOR to your install, FOR your go-live date forward, in order to ‘wake them up’ so that eCW will trigger a message to CHADIS and CHADIS can set up the chart and assign questionnaires. This is only for the mapped visit types.
