- Documentation assistance for all urgent and other “same day” visits: Pre-visit patient questionnaire data write editable draft notes for acute and follow-up visits.
- Well-Visit Documentation: CHADIS can make an editable visit note from the AAP Bright Futures questionnaires, sorting the level of concern for each topic (extra charge).
- Smart templates: Combine questionnaire results from multiple respondents to create editable notes for chronic problem-visits; decision support; MI guides; graphics; care plans, and individualized patient education/resources. Templates for depression, suicide risk (with new suicide risk worksheet), substance use, ADHD, asthma, and social determinants.
- Handouts/resources/integration with chatbots: Pre-assigned based on questionnaire results including patient priorities/goals and health risks, Bright Futures handouts by age (extra cost). Some resources include links to chatbots to support enhanced patient engagement.
- Closed loop referral: CHADIS “refer link” facilitates effective referrals with online patient consent, secure messaging with preferred referral sources, shared CHADIS data, and text to the family with referral contact information. A referral dashboard for the practice provides summary information on the status of each referral. SMS to the family later checks referral success and creates a tracking report for the office.
- Add new respondents (primary caregivers, teens, and teachers) to CHADIS with one simplified workflow
- Easily connect existing respondents to multiple patients
- Resend registration messages to help respondents log in to CHADIS

Additional features requested by practices and providers, to improve day-to-day user experience with CHADIS:
- Prematurity settings are now customizable by questionnaire! CHADIS will continue to adjust for prematurity through age 24 months for developmentally appropriate tools (as recommended by the AAP), but tools that focus on other factors, like maternal depression, will not be impacted.
- Report editing: CHADIS will allow clinical users to edit titles, dates, etc of CHADIS reports
- Improved patient search: The patient search has been enhanced to be much faster, with expanded capabilities
- Communication Preferences: Clinical staff can edit respondent message preferences
- Manual questionnaire enhancement: For integrated clients with manual questionnaire assignment via CHADIS, it is possible to connect the additional questionnaire to a recent appointment.
