If the respondent does not complete their questionnaires before the appointment, CHADIS questionnaires can be completed in the office on a phone or tablet using the CHADIS ‘Waiting Room Workflow’. The CHADIS Waiting Room Workflow allows the respondent to access CHADIS questionnaires quickly without typing in their username or password.
Send Device Switch Message allows staff to text respondents a quick link that provides direct access to CHADIS.
A common option is for staff to send the device switch message from the computer behind the desk to the respondent's mobile phone.
1. Log into CHADIS and click on ‘Waiting Room’ on the home page.
2. Search for the patient using name or DOB, then click on the patient to open the waiting room options.
3. Click on the right icon, ‘Send Device Switch Message,’ next to the respondent with incomplete questionnaires to send the respondent a text with a quick link providing direct access to CHADIS.
4. The mobile number will be filled in if this info is already recorded for the respondent. You can also choose to enter the mobile number manually if needed.
5. After clicking ‘Continue,’ a text will be sent to the respondent with a quick link providing direct access to CHADIS. They do not need to type in their username or password. This quick link expires in 15 minutes for security reasons. However, once the respondent has clicked the link and entered CHADIS, they will have as much time as they need to complete the questionnaire.
